Are you organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in inventory management? Smoothtel and Data Solutions Limited is seeking a Stores Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient stock control, proper storage, and timely issuance of materials and supplies across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify goods delivered against purchase orders.
- Organize, label, and store inventory items securely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate stock records and regularly update inventory systems.
- Issue items to various departments and ensure proper documentation.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
- Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and security of the storeroom.
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams on stock levels and reorder points
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a stores or inventory management role.
- Good working knowledge of inventory software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
